‘Majlis Silaturahim Aidilfitri’ with YB Puan Hajah Nancy Shukri, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department

Putrajaya August 19, 2014 - ‘Majlis Silaturahim Aidilfitri’ with YB Puan Hajah Nancy Shukri, Minister in the Prime Minister was held on 19 August 2014 involving the officers and staff of Legal Affairs Division, Legal Aid Department and Malaysia Department of Insolvency as well as fraternity of civil service. YAA Tun Arifin bin Zakaria – The Chief Justice of Malaysia as well as the chairman of the Judicial Appointments Commission is among the fraternity who graced the occasion.

During the ceremony too, a Humanitarian Fund booth was placed in the corner of the reception lobby and YB Minister took pledge in giving monetary contribution to the humanitarian fund for Gaza as a sign of support to Palestine. Contributions will be handed over to Palestinian Peace, a NGOs that provide direct assistance to the Palestinians.
The event was also cherished with ‘pulut kuning’ cutting ceremony in the conjunction with YB Minister Puan Hajah Nancy Shukri’s birthday celebration together with YBhg. Dato' Nursiah binti Arshad who shared the same birthday. The ceremony also held as a token of appreciation to the Director General of BHEUU, YBhg. Dato' Haji Ismail bin Ibrahim, who will retire in early September 2014.
